The Butterfly and Moth remedies fulfill a very important role in our material medica. So I thought in this blog I would explore the themes of a few of these beautiful insects*.
•Butterflies and moths are the only insects that inspire awe and appreciation instead of fear and revulsion.
•Over 20 Lepidoptera remedies have been proved , yet they are scarecely used.
•In Repertory only 2000 rubrics for family (10000 for birds)
•In Ancient Greece the butterfly was termed Psyche, or soul/breath. Psyche, the beautiful woman who married Eros is often portrayed as having butterfly wings-symbol of her innocent love.
